Beginner Session
2.5 hours

An introduction to glass lampworking, best for beginners.
In this session you will learn the basics of working with soft glass on a lampwork torch including the following techniques:

Heating up the glass

Applying glass to the mandrel
-
Basic bead making
-
Dot decoration
-
Frit and stringer decoration
​
Begin making your very own beads within 30 mins! explore your own style and choose your bead colour, shape and size.
​
You will make a small set of beads which can be posted or collected once they are ready (24 hours minimum after the session to allow for annealing)
​
For one or two participants. Light refreshments provided.

A follow on from the beginner session. Suitable for beginners.
In this workshop you will learn and develop the relevant techniques for working with soft glass on a lampwork torch including the following:​
